EvoLogics are happy to introduce a new Mini-ROV: the bionic vehicle’s design stems from the streamlined shape of a sea turtle. It is being developed as part of the “MiRo-Base” research project that focuses on a concept for a novel modular “Mini-ROV made in Germany”.
MiRo-Base is a joint research effort, supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMBF). Coordinated by Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics Research IGD, project partners are EvoLogics GmbH, FORTech GmbH, SubCtech GmbH, IAV GmbH, Chair of Ocean Engineering University Rostock and Institut für Automatisierungstechnik (IAT) University Rostock.
